Asoka

Dessert made from Moong Dal

Instructions

  • Pressure cook Moong Dal (1cup) till soft. Mash it and set aside
  • Heat Ghee in a pan. Add Maida (1/4 cup). Cook for about 10 minutes
  • Add Moong Dal
  • Add Milk (1/2 litre) and Sugar (1 and 3/4 cup). Keep stirring. Add Ghee and Sunflower oil if it sticks to the pan.
  • Cook till all the ghee and oil floats to the top.
  • Garnish with chopped fried cashew nuts
