Mutton Chuka

Mutton coated with thick gravy

Instructions

  • Marinate mutton with yogurt (3 tbsp), ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, pepper powder (1/2 tsp), meat curry powder (1/2 tsp), salt for about 1/2 hour
  • Then pressure cook the mutton – set aside
  • In a pan, heat coconut oil, add Cinnamon, cardamon, star anise, cloves
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste and Green chilly (2-3)
  • Add Curry leaves, Chilly powder (3 tbsp), Coriander powder (2 tbsp), Meat curry powder (1/2 tsp), Pepper powder (1/2 tsp), turmeric powder (1/2 tsp), Roasted cumin seed powder (1 tsp)
  • Add tomato (1 tsp)
  • Add the liquid from the cooked mutton
  • Then add the mutton and fry till the masala is coated
  • Add cashew nuts and garnish with coriander leaves
