About Me

My name is Vadivu Swamy (aka Vadi).  I live in London with my husband and 2 children.  I was born in Singapore.  I grew up eating Singaporean, Malaysian and Indian food.  I was married in Tanjore, a town in South India.

My mother (Amma) and mother-in-law are my number one influences  in my life when it comes to food.  I learnt to cook from them after getting married.  I am lucky enough to be surrounded by family and friends who are exceptional cooks and most importantly very keen to share their recipes with me.

I love cooking authentic South Indian, Singaporean/Malaysian, Italian and Chinese but am interested in all cuisines.  I have created this website to share the recipes I have cooked over the years that I especially like.

This is a very basic, simple website created purely to share favourite recipes and hope with your support (friends and family) we can expand this collection further.
