Thayir (Yogurt) Bread

Similar to Thayir Vadai but using Bread instead

Instructions

  • Cut bread into round shape and set aside
  • Mix thick yogurt with salt and sugar. Refrigerate
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds, White Urad dhal, little jeera and small onions (cut lengthwise). Fry and let it cool once done
  • Add this to the Yogurt mixture
  • Layer the bread in a dish and pour the Yogurt mixture covering all the bread pieces.
  • Garnish with Coriander Leaves and Grated carrot. Serve Immediately

Notes

This should be served immediately as the bread will get soggy if left for too long.
