South Indian Crab Masala

Spicy Crab Masala best served with Crab Rasam and Rice

Instructions

  • Heat Oil in Pan. Add Karuvadagam (if not available, add mustard seeds)
  • Add Curry leaves and Slit Green Chillies (2)
  • Add finely chopped Onions (4). Cook till brown
  • Add Ginger-Garlic Paste. Fry for a couple of minutes
  • Add Chilli Powder (3 -4 tsp), Turmeric Powder (1 tsp), Coriander Powder (3 tsp)
  • Fry for a couple of minutes
  • Add Finely chopped tomatoes (4-5). Cook till it is mashed
  • Add Crab, Coconut Powder (3 tsp), Fennel Powder (1-2 tsp)
  • Cook till masala becomes Thick and Dark
  • Finish with Coriander Leaves and little Tomato Ketchup
