Papdi Chaat

A healthy Snack or Lunch served with Tamarind and Green Chutney

Instructions

Tamarind Dates Chutney

  • Boil lemon Sized portion of Tamarind with about 4/5 dates
  • Once it is soft, add Jaggery Powder (4 tsp), Coriander Powder (1/2 tsp), Chilli Powder (1/4 tsp), Cumin Powder (1/2 tsp), Salt
  • Boil till Jaggery has melted. Cool and then grind

Mint Coriander Chutney

  • Grind Coriander Leaves (1 cup), Mint Leaves (1 cup), Green Chillies (4), Lemon Juice, Salt

Chat Mixture

  • Boil Potatoes (1) and cut into small pieces
  • Mix Potatoes, Chopped Red Onions (1), Chopped Green Chillies (4), ChickPeas (1 tin), Pomegranate, Chopped Coriander Leaves, Chat Masala (3 tsp), Chilli Powder (1/2 tsp), Salt, Tomatoes (optional), Peanuts (optional)

Serving

  • In a Bowl, put the Chat Mixture, Papdi Chaat, Sev. Top with yogurt, Green Chutney and Tamarind Chutney
