Tomato Rasam best served with Rice
Instructions
- Grind Tomatoes (3)
- Heat Oil in a pan. Add Cinnamon Stick and Cloves (2)
- Add finely chopped Onions (1/2) and Crushed Garlic (3)
- Add slit Green Chillies (2) and Curry Leaves
- Add ground Tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes and remove from heat
- Add Water from Soaked Rice. Cook for 10 minutes and remove from heat
- Add crushed Cumin and Peppercorn spice mixture
- Add Tamarind or Lemon Juice and sugar
- Mix altogether and heat the soup. Boil till it froths up
- Add little Coconut Milk and Coriander Leaves
