Sorraka Adai

Savoury Pancake like dish made out of Bottle gourd

Instructions

  • Soak Boiled Rice (2 cups) for about 3 hours
  • Peel and Deseed SorakaiBottle gourd (1). Cut into pieces
  • Grind Fennel Seeds (1 tsp), Dried Red Chillies (7)
  • Add Rice and Sorakai and grind coarsely
  • Add finely chopped onions, Curry Leaves, Salt and Coriander Leaves
  • Batter should not be too runny
  • Pour one ladle of batter on a Dosa Pan and spread it. Cook on both sides till done

Notes

You can add Pumpkin instead
The batter can be frozen but do not add salt
