Mixed Dal

Uses 5 types of Dal to make a rich creamy dish

Instructions

  • Soak Moong Dal, Toor Dal, Chana Dal, Black Dal, Masoor Dal for 20 minutes – 2 heaped tbsp each)
  • Boil with salt and Turmeric (1/2 tsp)
  • Remove Scum while boiling
  • Simmer for 20-25 mins till cooked
  • Heat Ghee, add Onion till brown
  • Add turmeric, salt, Chilli Powder, Garam Masala
  • Add Tomato (1)
  • Pour Over onion mixture in Cooked Dal
  • Add Coriander Leaves and Lime Juice
  • Temper with Red Chilli, Cumin Seeds, Cloves and Chopped Garlic
