Creamy Tandoor Chicken

Creamy Chicken dish with Tandoor flavour

Instructions

  • Marinate Chicken with Chilli Powder (3 tsp), Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp), finely chopped Green chillies (2), finely chopped Coriander leaves (handful), Ginger-Garlic paste (2 tsp), Pepper Powder (1 tsp), Garam Masala Powder (1 tsp), Lemon Juice (1/2), Beaten Yogurt (1 cup), crushed fried onions (Handful), Salt, Cinnamon Powder (pinch), Ghee (1 tbsp). Leave it for an hour.
  • Heat ghee in a pan. Add chicken pieces and cook in high flame. Cover and Cook till it is done
  • Take another pan and heat ghee. Add ginger-garlic paste (2 tsp). Add ground Fried Onions (3-4 tbsp), Boiled/Peeled and Pureed Tomatoes (5). Cook till oil separates.
  • Add finely chopped Green Chillies (2), Beaten Yogurt (1/2 cup). Cook in medium heat. Cook till oil separates. Add little water and salt. Add Cashew Nut paste (1/4 cup). Boil it
  • Add the chicken to the above gravy. Add Garam Masala (1/4 tsp), Pepper Powder (1/4 tsp), Chaat Masala (1 tsp), Fenugreek Leaves (1 tsp), Cream (2 tbsp). Mix
  • Now heat Charcoal and put it in a small bowl. Place the hot charcoal bowl in the Kadai. Add ghee or oil over the charcoal and cover. Remove after about 5 to 10 minutes
  • Before serving, garnish with more cream and lemon juice.
