Chicken Curry for Chapathi

Thick Coconut Based Chicken Gravy

Instructions

  • Add Oil in Pan. Add Coarsely Ground Small Onions (1 cup). Cook till it is slightly brown.
  • Add Ginger-Garlic, Pepper Powder (2 tsp), Poppy Seeds (ground), Fennel Seeds Powder. Cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Add Chilli Powder, Little Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder. Cook further 5 minutes.
  • Add Chicken. Cook till it is nicely coated with the masala.
  • Add Thin Coconut Milk and little Tamarind. Simmer till Chicken is cooked.
  • Temper with Cinnamon, Fennel Seeds, Small Onions
  • Lastly add Thick Coconut Milk, Coriander Leaves. Lemon Juice (Optional)
