Spicy Red Chutney for Snacks

Blend of Spicy Red Chillies, Peanut Butter, Garlic and Lemon

Instructions

  • Wash Whole Dried Red Chillies (6) and put in a pan with little water and Vinegar (1 tbsp). Boil
  • Blend the above Red Chillies with Garlic (6), Coriander Seeds (1 tbsp), Cumin Seeds (1 tbsp) and Peanut Butter (according to taste).
    Note: Omit Peanut Butter if you want the chutney spicier.
  • Heat Oil in a pan and Add the ground Paste.
  • Add Salt and Lemon Juice from 2 Whole Lemons. Fry chutney a little longer. Remove from heat.
  • Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.

Notes

Serve this chutney with Pitta and Humous or as an accompaniment to any Starters
