Karuvapillai Kulambu

Spicy Curry Leaves and Tamarind curry

Instructions

  • Heat Pan and fry Curry Leaves (1 bunch)
  • Fry Peppercorns (2 tsp), Cumin Seeds (2 tsp), Dried Red Chillies (5) separately
  • Cool and grind the spices together
  • Add Coriander Powder (4 tbsp) to the ground spices
  • Heat Oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds (1 tsp)
  • Add lots of Garlic
  • Add the ground paste, Tamarind pulp, Turmeric and Salt
  • Cook till it thickens
