Heat oil in a pan
Add Fennel (1 tsp), Cinnamon, Bay Leaves (2), Star Anise (1), Curry Leaves
Add Finely Chopped Onions (5/6). Fry for a couple of minutes till it softens
Add Ginger-Garlic paste (2 tsp). Fry for a couple of minutes
Add Finely cut Tomato (1). Fry for a couple of minutes
Add Coriander Powder (1 tsp), Chilli Powder (1 tsp), Turmeric Powder (1 tsp)
Add little water and cook for about 10 minutes
Add the above coconut mixture. Boil for a few minutes
Add the vadai (break into pieces) and fennel seed powder (1 tsp)
Cook for further 5 minutes
